Victim of Changes @ 11:58 PM

Went out with my parents on Sunday and for the first time in years(I'm not kidding), I asked for a Coke bottle, in fact a Coke Zero bottle, well unless you count buying Coke for people and gatherings. Haha.

It's been so long that when I drank it, after awhile it actually felt a bit sickening. I'm just completely taken aback by how my body can't take it now. I remember in the past I used to just drink as much coke as I did water. Haha. Guess that's how I lost some weight and how my diet has changed somewhat.

Oh I want to take a rant a Crumpler. I remember the days when they were the "In" thing and everyone had one. In fact I still regularly use mine that I bought when I was Sec 4. Back then, the prices were a little steep for the average student but still you were paying for decent stuff. Honestly, now when I see the prices, I think they're kinda questionable. Honestly speaking their product line hasn't really changed for the most part if you were to count out design but their prices are getting harder to justify. Ok maybe I'm just thinking too much. Haha.

On a random note, I need new shoes. O.O

The Frenzy is Over! @ 10:36 PM

Haha random but I finally did it! (:

Honestly, I've not played a game so unrelentingly in a very very long time. You can definitely say this was one of the most fun, enjoyable and insane games I've ever play and probably will play.

Yes I know I took VERY long. Hahaha. And yes I saved 1444 times in the whole playthrough. Which makes it about a save every 2.19 minutes. LOL. Really though this game completely ruined my life. Hahaha.

Just as the original, Mass Effect, did. It completely screwed with me and my results. Hence, now you know why I don't game during school semesters? Haha.

Please buy it though you'll enjoy this game thoroughly. I seem to have a penchant for liking Bioware games. Ok maybe not because I don't play Bioshock, go figure.

Press Rewind And Repeat, Ready? @ 9:38 PM

Hello!

Yes, I've not been here in a long time have I? I know I know, you don't have to tell me, the main reason was laziness. Haha. I think everyone who reads more than 5 posts from me would know that by now. This time though, it was helped by the fact that I had attachment! One of the conditions was that we won't blog about what we do, and for safety/security aka laziness reasons I decided to just forgo blogging altogether! Haha.

I guess internship was.....a good experience? I mean honestly, most of us never really did get a almost this proper office work life before our internship so it was enlightening in a way. You learn about many many things that you won't get in a classroom. So yes I guess in a way it was a necessary experience. After all, it was one of the reasons, why I saw coming to poly was a benefit to me. Funny how... that was in Secondary 4? Seems like another life away.... yet I just went through 5 months plus of it just like that. Honestly, I was very blessed with my internship. I had everything you could possibly ask for of an internship, a great supervisor, a good big boss, the friendliest office you could ask for and being in a team of people of your age too. It was... at times one of the happier no that sounds so depressing haha, make that happiest (?) parts of my life.

Don't get me wrong, internship wasn't a breeze for me, even though yes I was not really given a large workload and the factors above. I also got something unique in that I was attached to a project and doing it rather than having to do normal work and got many many unique experiences. Heck, I even got a name-card! Haha, it's so precious to me that I kept everyone of them I could spare. It is weird, yes, normally people just chuck their name-cards when they don't need them anymore, but I guess your first is always the most important? When I look back at them, I guess it store my memories for me. I guess I'll laugh too at keeping so many of them but you're only 18 once right? Haha.

You know actually, in the office, I would be a kid rather than try to be mature and act like the people around me. I wanted to do that because... well in the future you won't be able to act like that when you're really working. I wanted to do and see things at work in a kid's prospective. The staff really treated me as one though, so it was really funny to see them try and help me along the way. It really was fun, acting like a kid around the office and I guess the staff really were taking aback by this kid zipping around the office. It was good though, because it made them more forgiving of what I do, and by purposely letting myself get into mistakes it was easier to get the to know what the best course of action I should take and all.

Wow, I've already written so much spontaneously, haha. Overall....internship was...well.... not perfect, not bad, not the worst or best 5 months plus of my life.... just... something that I could look back on and smile and know that I had fun, did crap, did great, made mistakes and met people that I would treat as friends, hopefully, for life. In case you're wondering, yes I did a lot of sai kang, yes the pay can be beaten by any reasonable part-time job, yes it's not delightful or pleasant but it helps. A lot.

Anyway, I might as well just say what happened in my life during my internship?

I quit all Facebook games, because well, I realized I got too addicted and dependent on them. Like, even during a sleepover, I wanted to get on to play Mafia Wars once we woke up. That's... just not healthy. Haha. So yes, no more requesting for help on my wall, I'm sorry if I filled your wall with so many of those posts on your news feeds.

My K pop addiction and level went down, haha yes. I guess I was too absorbed in working life that I began to lose touch with it. I was and still am pretty outdated but it made me realize why and how adults lose sight and focus of their interests and understand them better. Anyway, I missed out on a lot of those fun stuff and now I should catch up. Yes yes, I still have my heart out for SNSD. The boyfriend suckers, the number one girl group that girl friends hate, antis target, prime victim of plastic surgery rumors and accusations, the plastic girl group, the girls who apparently can't sing. I still like them (: . Yes if you're wondering, I do like them, a lot. I just don't really talk about them because I've seen too many people try to convert or bore the crap nuts out of other people who aren't interested by bombing k pop which isn't fair to them. I think it's better to just let it be.

My social life went to the basement and below. Haha. I purposely avoided going out from Monday to Thursday! It didn't help that I wasn't supposed to even have any leave days. Haha. So I'm sorry to the many people I kept rejecting especially to the various groups. I just wanted to make sure I could rest. Well ok, so sleeping at 10 - 11 pm and waking up at 5.30 - 6am isn't what people our age do but I wanted to and that is what's important! Haha.

I finally found a reason for closure, for something that had been with me for the past.... four years? Haha. Sometimes, people still ask me did I really find closure and honestly, I don't know but we believe what we want to believe right? (: .

In turn, that reason turned out to something that replaced exactly what it helped closed. Hahaha. Stupid right? Again, it didn't turn out... well. At all. In the end, it hurt me... a lot. If you ask why I haven't gone out to seek and address it is because I... don't know whether I might do something I would regret and I already kinda did, so I can't bring myself to run after it anymore. Not for now.

Then the tech stuff would be... I got a new cellphone, Motorola Milestone. I got new earphones, UE 700, which... you don't want to know the price. LOL. I got a new 2 TB hard disk so I don't have to give a damn about this area for at least the next 4 years, heck it's even got a 5 year warranty. Haha. And my momma got a new laptop. (:

Alright better end it here. It was nice coming on here again.

Cheers
Shi Kai

On Holidayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy @ 8:31 AM

Now that the holidays are here I've been able to just shut down, put up shop and go to no man's land. Haha.

I finally managed to get to do something which I haven't done in a long time. Reading! Like finishing a 500 page + book in 1+ day. Haha. And also multi-task like insanity. Like watching a RE5 speedrun, read book, watch soccer highlights and go on soshified and exercise kind of multi-tasking. Not having to read about financial news in the morning helps a lot too. Haha.

For some reason, I kinda dislike going on and using MSN though, don't ask me why, maybe it's because I've gone on isolation mode. Rofl. So if you want to get me call/sms or even email me. O.O .

And my holiday schedule seems like it's gonna be a lot of fun. Yay!

Goobne! @ 4:39 PM

Well e-learning week was fun. So fun that I completely forgot what happened.

Oh wait I know, we had our I&E! Yes, and it was pretty boring. Oh we did get our mega boomz for all four of our stockquest accounts during I&E though. Haha.

And and, we had Elena's surprise birthday party! At.... Yuki Yaki. In order to surprise her I insisted that everyone crouched(Rofl I was so sleep i wrote crotched) down at the table. In the end it was 10 minutes of neck pain due to miscommunication or lack of it. Lol. However, Cybil and Jing Xian being kiasu Singaporeans decided to take 15 cups of ice cream solution thinking that we were going to start a mini-bar. This made us spend so much time at the restaurant that the staff could have kicked us out, unable to even have the cake because they wanted us out and made us too full to even have cake later. Lol. First time ever, blow candles, cut cake and never eat.

Then next was steamboat at the loft. Well actually I was supposed to have NAPFA testing before that. I was quite sian and all because it was last minute, like the day before suddenly tell us got emergency, then it was for 150 people and generall anything beyond 120 people is bad. In the end only 2 people showed up. The lecturer had everyone cancelled till December. Major screwballs. I got $6.50 for coming down though. Haha.

Anyway, that ended like almost right when I was supposed to meet the guys for the loft steamboat. Apparently due to spilling of soft drinks and leaving around of half eaten food, the apartment that they were living in had became ant paradise. It was so bad, at some parts it was like an ant for every 5cm. Lol.

Then we wanted to play sports to pass the time but all the facilities were being used, ended up we played soccer in the living room of the other apartment which they for some reason weren't using. Generally, common sense would tell you that a 10m by 5m court with various blockages around is a bad idea, let alone a 2 v 2 round robin. In the end I just gave up and use pure physical strength, sorry Mark. Haha. I was crap.

Then the steamboat itself was fun! First time ever I enjoyed a steamboat, and like cook the meat myself etc. For some reason, I'm starting to think going out with my class is a learning life-skills course. Lol. I went off while most of them stayed back because I know my 10+ sleep schedule would mean my body surely couldn't take a sleepover.

After that was another birthday celebration! Wei ting's birthday surprise. In the beginning the organisers somehow couldn't tell between a function room and a normal condo block so we pin-balled between 3 BLOCKS before we got to the function room. Hahah. Overall, the party was quite ok la, just that putting three groups together in the same roof means quite awkward sometimes.

The next day I finally went to install Windows 7 after doing additional backups of everything under the sun. I was afraid that I wouldn't be as lucky as the last time and still manage to roll back everything after getting a blue screen at the last part. After spending 2+ hours installing, I found out I had to get a Product License key. =.= . The worst part was the website was being an ass so Boon Kiat took more than hour before he could help me get it. Nerve wrecking I tell you.

Then, another day passed and tada, I found myself at the buffet table again. Seriously, buffet 3 times in 4 days is a really bad idea. Lol. This time it was another family thing, and I found out from my aunt I should have chosen OCBC as my attachment choice. Dang.

Ok I'll stop here for now, this post got way too long!

Shee So Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa @ 6:50 PM

Ok whoever still comes here, congratulations, celebrations, I'm blogging here again. Haha.

Anyway last week I NAPFA tested and there was this pretty girl! Haha. She has a pretty smile. Finally I can now say Ngee Ann has SIX pretty girls. (:

A girl had an asthma panic attack after the test though. ): . First time ever something serious happened while I'm on duty. In the end had to call an ambulance to rush down. The crazy thing was, her parents rushed down faster than the ambulance. I don't know how does that work out.
Hopefully, she'll be alright.

Then there was Noah's Bukit Timah, which I fortunately, unfortunately missed. I just had a meeting for the day and the rest of the day I was holed up in a pool hall. Apparently, the whole Ngee Ann Polytechnic was in chaos. our whole school got flooded, with quite a large chunk of it water-logged.

Our canteen was at the same water level as the swimming pool next to it. Water gushed down from our new Makan Place's lights. Cockroaches rose up like some uprising, by the hundreds or thousands. The entire Bukit Timah was flooded and wrecked every car at ground level and under. I think I was home by then.

Anyway, before that, back at the pool hall there was this guy that made the others completely unable to play pool. He was this skinny guy that folded his shirt until it exposed his midriff. And he was wearing hot pants. And he humped a Foosball table. And he put pool balls into his shirt to act as breasts. And he put his arms around a guy's waist and caressed that guy's little brother. Fortunately, I only saw the first one.

On a lighter note, my grandpa's birthday was last Saturday!

Gimme All Your Lovin' @ 6:20 PM

Alright holidays have so far been great. Slacking, watching shows, going out and not having to worry about anything but well nothing really. Haha.

Well let me think what I've been doing this holiday. I've decided to give up finding employment because that retarded mio has been causing so much problem that it has taken three weeks to try and find a solution SO FAR. Tomorrow's guys are supposed to finish it.

Oh I've suddenly went Korean pop crazy. Like I keep youtubing K-pop stuff. Seriously, I'm damn lag. Everybody got on the wave like three years ago. Hahaha. Oh well better late than never. I think it's really weird that I kinda like some bits of K-pop when I'm having trouble liking English pop now. Lol.

Oh yes I did a 10km run again and thankfully I didn't taste my own blood after the whole thing like the first time. Hopefully it's my body getting used to the distance.

Well the rest of my time has been spent going on and just having fun. Haha. Too bad the JC people aren't really that free. Oh well end of the year! :)
